The single greatest challenge that Family of Hope faces is fundraising. School staff salaries will be paid by Family of Hope, Inc. for at least the first five years. It costs under $3,000 per month to pay the entire staff for a school of 500 students! For more detailed information on financial needs, please contact us.

Please pray for the future of the Liberian government under the leadership of President Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf, and for continued peace. The Zondo community is filled with hope that the children will learn; praise God that their dream is coming true! The principal of the Zondo school is working with children and staff. Please pray for him, the teachers, and local leaders as they determine the best way to provide holistic education to the students. Praise God that U.S. Family of Hope board members have been able to visit Liberia to see the school, run teacher workshops, meet with Family of Hope (Liberia) board members, and meet with government officials.

Family of Hope, Inc. exists because of the talented volunteers who are working together to provide education, and hope, in rural Liberia. Opportunities vary from sorting books to designing websites to exploring educational possibilities. Please contact us if you'd like to know more.
